Island beach state park fishing report

Island beach state park has a very lite northwest wind. The waves are way laid down 1-2 feet. 3 oz to bottom. Good reports of king fish being reeled in. 5-7 lb blues are steadily biting. Clam seems to be the ticket for stripers. Few reeled in on Ava’s so sand eels must be starting to arrive. The island is pretty empty today. Water temp is still holding around 63 degrees. Hopefully a cold front comes in soon!!!
